Shocking Recording Reveals Instant Officers Get Knifed in Surprise Attack

Both Sergeants Instants Before the Assailant Got Stunned

A senior officer who rushed to the assistance of a fellow officer that was assaulted by a blade-wielder received the Monarch's Honor for Bravery.

Sergeant Tim Ansell struggled against 27-yr-old Jacob Brown following he held a knife to the neck of his partner Sergeant Marc Foster.

Brown began the violence as the law enforcement personnel and their colleague, Police Constable Marcus Wolstencroft, were speaking to a driver subsequent to a vehicle incident in that location in July 2023.

Brown knifed and cut the two Sgt Ansell and Sergeant Foster prior to PC Wolstencroft stopped him with a electric weapon.

Sgt Ansell was heard stating: "Please provide help on my neck here, I got knifed in the neck."

Sergeant Ansell received two lacerations to his throat and further cuts to his arms and body, whereas Sgt Foster received knife wounds.

The department reported Sgt Foster used his bare hands to stop his fellow officer's hemorrhaging before paramedics came.

The latest honor follows subsequent to the three officers were granted departmental Bravery Awards in fall 2023 and the John Egerton Bravery Award from the area Police Federation in early 2024.

They were also awarded a Regional Valor Recognition in mid-2024.

"The efforts of all three officers eventually saved each other and meant no members of the public endured any wounds."

Brown received a sentence to an psychiatric detention in spring 2024, according to officials.
